Marshalled Shore Dives at Selsey 2020

We are lucky enough at Mulberry Divers to have a shore dive at Selsey that offers something for everyone on our doorstep.  The Selsey Lifeboat Station Dive is a shallow shore dive, that is known for its biodiversity; located in West Sussex it sits within the Selsey Bill and The Hounds Marine Conservation Zone which includes the Mixon Hole. Whether you like to spot or take photographs there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy your time underwater. 

Mulberry Divers is offering a range of Marshalled Dives to suit all levels of scuba diving experience, that are open to certified divers of all agencies.  If you are uncertain which level would suit you please call (01243 601000) or email the Dive Centre ( and we will be happy to advise.

Marshalled Shore Dive – If you are a self-sufficient diver, who is unfamiliar with the Selsey Lifeboat Station Dive, but have some UK sea diving experience, this would be the best Option for you. We provide support on the surface to include a comprehensive site briefing and then provide surface cover for the duration of your dive. The cost is £25 per person. 

Marshalled Shore Diving Workshop – For those scuba divers who are unfamiliar with sea diving in the UK and would like more help, we have put together a workshop to help you. This will include a comprehensive site briefing and surface cover but in addition will have practical tips and guidance for DSMB deployment (including underwater demonstration), reel types, assessing conditions, dive planning help and navigation tips. The cost is £75 per person. 

Guided Dive Option – If you have only recently become an Open Water Diver, or have never dived in the UK, or would prefer to have a professional show you around, then a Guided Dive Option is for you.  This is a half day diving experience that is tailored to your needs. Diving with our SSI professionals we will take you through the process including planning, showing you where to find the marine life and full debrief. It best to only have one objective so you do not task overload and that can be my first UK sea scuba dive! Spaces are limited and must be booked and paid for in advance. Equipment hire is possible and for the Marshalled Dives is in addition to the dive cost. All equipment will need to be collected and returned to the Dive Centre by you. You will be forwarded the required documentation and COVID-19 procedures for return prior to the diving day. 

All Dives are weather and conditions dependent. We ask divers to contact us the day before the dive to check conditions are suitable for the dive.
